Happy New Year from Mesa
County Right to Life!
We hope your Christmas was filled with the joy and peace given to us
by the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Here are some of the
happenings in the Grand Valley pro-life community.
Grand Valley Walk for Life
Date: Saturday, January 21, 2017
Time: 12:00 Noon
Location: Old County Courthouse (6th and Rood, Grand Junction)
Procession: From the Courthouse, we will conduct our own Walk for Life up and down Main Street.
Chili Lunch: Following the Vigil and Walk for Life, a free chili lunch and hot drinks will be served at the St. Joseph Parish Hall (White Ave, between 3rd & 4th St).
Special thanks to the Knights of Columbus Council #1062 for sponsoring the lunch.
On this 44th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, let us remember the more than 56 million lives lost to abortion as well as the countless other victims suffering from the effects of Post-Abortion Syndrome. We pray that the Great Physician will pour out His healing and bring these victims from brokenness to wholeness.
Bethany Janzen, the new regional coordinator with Students for Life of America, made a visit to the Grand Valley in October. During her visit, Bethany met with area middle and high schoolers as well as a group of CMU students. Both meetings were very productive and we are beginning to form groups at various schools in the area. Please pray for direction for these groups and that we can mobilize the young pro-life community.

We thank you for your continued support of Mesa County Right to Life, both in prayer and with your generous donations. With renewed hope that comes from the new year and the infant Jesus, let us continue doing His work in defending life. As it says in Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the holy Spirit.”
We hope that 2017 brings many blessings to you and your family. May God bless you as you stand up for life!
